Yep. Who wants Pizza from a vending machine? Hard to believe I found this in Paris.
Sad…I wholeheartedly agree…the artisans and the devotion to fresh food makes the food in France so special.

The French do love their automation but pizza and bread vending machines takes it to the ridiculous. Mind you, given the cost of employing staff (double the cost of what the employee is paid) it’s easy to see why. I have seen automated machines in the post office (that take twice as long as you still have to go to the counter for everything but the stamps) and even automated hotel rooms like Formule 1 — although thankfully never stayed in one! Funny post, Nancy!
Automatic hotel rooms? What the heck? I like dealing with people, even French people. 🙂
